Cardigans and jackets
Layered looks are more than appropriate on a cruise. Even in the hottest parts of the world, there are rainy days, and that’s when a raincoat or warm sweater will come in handy more than ever. And those who go on a cruise in Alaska, Greenland or Spitsbergen and in general should bring everything – from swimsuits and shorts to soft sweater, hat and gloves.
But it’s best not to take a lot of clothes for different temperatures, and just bring a warm cardigan or jacket to throw on top, in case suddenly it gets colder.
Headwear
A real masthead when cruising the sunny edges is a hat, which will not only protect you from the direct rays of the sun, but will also add chic to your look.
And if you’re going on a memorable glacier cruise, a warm hat and sunglasses will come in handy.
Footwear
Try not to cram your entire suitcase with fancy shoes. Choose multipurpose models.
Particularly acute are moccasins and sandals, perfect for casual parties and snickers, which are great for the gym or for active hiking in local attractions.
For your formal and romantic looks, choose shoes so that you only need one pair of shoes to match them.
