Everybody loves to travel. Even if you do it very often, you still take a lot of pseudo-useful but heavy things, and something necessary you always forget at home. Especially if the upcoming trip is so diverse as a sea cruise, let’s try to help out a little.

Adapter

Most often, the European standard of 220 volts and the American – of 110 volts are used on modern cruise ships. Take the adapter with you for more convenient use of equipment and devices.

Cell Phone

It’s clear that your cell phone probably won’t receive a signal away from shore. And you won’t be able to buy REVOLAX with “cabin delivery”. You will be in touch only during the liner’s anchorages in the ports of call. Still, a sea cruise, it’s one of the most valuable things you can do. Instead of keeping your phone in the safe, put it to work.

To begin with, cabin lights are usually turned on at the door-the overhead light. And nightlights by the beds. It seemed logical, as long as you didn’t have to sneak into the cabin last when your companions were asleep. Mobile screen light is most often enough to reach your berth unobstructed.

In addition, modern devices with GPS-navigator functions can often download detailed maps of places you plan to visit, descriptions of attractions, helpful phone numbers, and a detailed program of the day of the cruise and the tour in general. In addition, you can save booking numbers of various services and contacts of the host, and you can make notes along the way for future travel stories.

Mirror

The bathroom of every cabin is full of mirrors, but every woman knows firsthand: in electric and natural light, makeup looks different! And after all, a lot of pictures are taken on a sea cruise, and you want to look great. So, in front of the bathroom mirror, it is convenient to arrange the hair, but it is more convenient to apply makeup by the window, where mirrors, most often, are not provided. A small mirror suitable to put on makeup (or at least to check it) near the window will eliminate insecurity about your beauty.

Thread, pins, and needles

The most often forgotten object. It often happens that the malicious button is already flying off on the way “there”, making a jacket or pants, which were supposed to move through cities and islands, meaningless ballast for the whole cruise. In addition, the zipper of the suitcase, undone by souvenir indiscretion, calls into question the possibility of transporting it home typically after the cruise. A thread and a needle, on the other hand, solve the issue in seconds.

Earplugs

Even on modern cruise ships, where noise isolation is not bad, sometimes there are noisy events. Or neighbors. On Italian, Spanish ships and some American ships, it’s fun 24 hours a day. To not depend on the environment’s alterations, it is better to bring earplugs or special headphones if you are a light sleeper.

Getting Dressed

When going on a cruise at sea, you want to be ready for any situation and always look beautiful and appropriate. But at the same time, do not drag all the closet’s contents.

  • It’s best if the things you’ll take with you on the boat will be multi-functional: Do not take two jackets – lighter and warmer, take a lighter and a sweater that goes with it. That way, you can wear them together separately, and a shirt on the open water can come in handy even on the Caribbean and Mediterranean cruises. Let most of the things you choose to bring on your trip go together. It’s a shame to bring a suit on a cruise only to have it put off because of a stain on your pants or a dress that needs different shoes to go with it.
  • A monochrome badlon is a beautiful thing. With jeans, it will look casual and comfortable for a trip an excursion. In the evening, a set with a skirt or pants will make an excellent pair for a restaurant, supplemented with accessories. It can become part of the evening look. A few of these things for all occasions will be very useful.
  • The evening dress of an experienced cruise traveler most often does not require ironing, is made of knitwear, and takes a little less space than a cosmetic bag.
  • Beach and sportswear on the ship are good at the buffet, pool, and gym. It’s not always appropriate on excursions, either. Consider whether it’s advisable to take them in large quantities.
  • Find out whether your cabin has bathrobes before you go on a sea cruise. If not, be sure to take something cozy for walking around in a mess after a shower. After a busy day and a beautiful but somewhat officious restaurant, you want to relax a little.

Medicines and Remedies to Keep you in Shape

Be sure to replenish the first aid kit on the sea cruise with pills against motion sickness and a small bottle of brandy for the same purpose. Although on modern liners there are, of course, both. Remember that you can carry liquids only in luggage. And don’t buy REVOLAX, or other fillers. There will be no cosmetologist on a cruise ship. If you want to enhance your beauty, do it beforehand.

Don’t forget to take an essential thing with you on the liner – a good mood and willingness for discoveries!

Have a successful sea cruise!
